Woman Sentenced To Prison For Dealing Hydrocodone

Last updated on Friday, January 16, 2015

(BEDFORD) - Judge Michael Robbins sentenced 50-year-old Cynthia Davis to 10 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to dealing hydrocodone. Of the 10-year sentence, four will be spent on supervised probation.

Davis was also ordered to participate in the Department of Corrections drug addiction program and she must participate in ADAPT and pay a $200 drug interdiction fee when released from prison.

Davis accepted the plea agreement hoping she would be able to spend her six years in prison on house arrest.

Davis claimed she needed to be in the home to take care of her elderly mother and her husband who has a broken back from an ATV accident.

During a Sept. 22. hearing, Judge Robbins told Davis that she had two options - to receive the maximum sentence or she could continue the hearing and be placed on house arrest.

But on Dec. 22 Davis was arrested again after violating house arrest and put back in jail.
