Two Injured After Semi Collides With Car

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after her 2004 Hyundai was struck by a semi truck.

According to a Bedford Police Department accident report, 23-year-old Vasyl Skryonyk, of Rockford, was traveling north on Lincoln Avenue approaching the 5th Street intersection and was attempting to make a left turn onto 5th Street when the stop light turned yellow.

Skryonyk told police he didn't see any vehicle and proceeding making the turn when the 2005 Volvo semi, registered to Logistics Inc., struck the driver's side door of 22-year-old Jessica Eshbach's car.

Eshbach was traveling south on Lincoln Avenue.

Skryonyk complained of head pain and dizziness, but refused medical treatment.

Eshbach complained of left arm and neck pain. She was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
