(PAOLI) - Two Paoli men were arrested after police discovered a meth lab.
On Tuesday, Paoli officers with the assistance of Indiana State Police and the Orange County Sheriff's Department, went to a home in the 500 block of Fair Street armed with a search warrant.
According to a press release, 18-year-old Tanner Tuell was at the home when police arrived.
During their search officers located a meth lab, marijuana, firearms and a large amount of used hypodermic needles.
While at the home, officers noticed a maroon Toyota car that they knew frequented the home. A Paoli officer attempted to pull over the car, but the driver failed to stop. After about a mile pursuit the vehicle stopped and a passenger, Danial McDonald jumped from the car and ran into the woods. An officer followed but was unable to locate McDonald.
In the meantime another officer asked the driver, 30-year-old Brenton Doan of Paoli, to exit the car. Doan refused and he had to be physically removed. A Paoli K-9 unit alerted officers that there were drugs in the vehicle.
Officers discovered a meth lab in the trunk.
Tuell was arrested on charges of manufacturing, dealing and possession of meth while in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of hypodermic needles and maintaining a common nuisance.
Doan was charged with manufacturing, deal and possession meth, resisting law enforcement, possession of a precursor and maintaining a common nuisance.
Anyone with information about McDonald's location is asked to call the Paoli Police Department at (812) 723-2836 or (812) 723-2417. All information will be confidential.
