Translating Real-Life Success Into Practical Results For Youth Organizations

(LINTON) - Many youth workers can clearly see the impact their efforts have in the lives of children.

The Greene County Daily World reports that those successes don't always translate to paper. So how can organizations truly measure their wins and losses in a simple and clear fashion, while winning more support for their cause in the process?

With that challenge in mind, the Indiana Youth Institute (IYI) is hosting a forum on how youth workers, community leaders, educators and others who work to impact youth can quantify their missions.

The forum will feature IYI Data Program Manager Emily Krauser explaining how participants can evaluate and explain the impact their programs have on the youth they serve. Krauser will walk attendees through simplifying their evaluation results in order to inform funders, board members and the general public about their groups' missions and successes.

The forum will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Monical's Pizza in the Linton Shopping Center, 1600 A Street NE in Linton, 47441

As part of IYI's Youth Worker Cafe program, the forum and lunch are free, but reservations are required. RSVP by Noon on Monday, February 2 at www.surveymonkey.com/s/GreeneCoYWC020315.

Youth Worker Cafes are designed to bring together local youth workers to build relationships and inspire collaborations that will benefit children. This Youth Worker Cafe is made possible by the collaborative efforts of Greene Education Services and IYI.
