(SULLIVAN) - 34-year-old Joshua Russell of Sullivan is accused of fraudulently purchasing tires for his SUV, a charger, TV wall mount, speaker stands, a scooter, an iPod, an iPhone, a laptop and an automobile dash cover, using credit card numbers from several clients of the store he worked for.

Russell is facing three counts of felony fraud. He was arrested after one woman found charges on her credit card statement that she did not recognize and contacted the Sullivan Police Department on Nov. 11. According to a probable cause affidavit, one of those charges was from a team fan shop in Florida

According to police the woman called the shop and was given a name and address to where the items purchase were shipped.

Police went to that home and were told by the resident that they were friends of Russell and Russell had told them he was having those items shipped to their home.

Officers then went to Russell's home. He was not home so they went to his place of employment.

The charges on the woman's card were all made on the same day she had used her card at the place of Russell's employment.

Russell allegedly claimed that he had written down the woman's credit card information on a sticky note, and later had called his wife to ask for credit card information to purchase merchandise. Fischer's report states that Russell said he must have accidentally mixed up the two numbers.

Then Russell changed his story and said his own card had been declined due to his account being overdrawn, and he had decided to use the other woman's information.

Russell reportedly told the police that this was the first time he had done something like this. But then changed his story again stating he had used other customers' credit card information to purchase a number of items including Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets on one card and One Direction tickets on another.

Then, on Nov. 12, Russell returned to the Sullivan City Police Department and provided officers with a lengthy list of all the purchase he had made using other people's credit cards.

Police say Russell used credit card numbers from seven different individuals and purchased items totaling more than $3,000.
