(SPRING MILL) - A Feb. 9 workshop at Spring Mill State Park will teach participants to spin yarn using a drop spindle.
Participants also will have the chance to use spinning wheels from the park's Pioneer Village.
All supplies are provided. The drop spindle and roving you use in the class will be yours to take home.
The workshop runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Spring Mill Inn in the Elm room.
The workshop includes a buffet lunch at the inn's Millstone dining room.
Twelve spots are available, and advance registration is required by Feb 7. Register by calling (812) 849-4081. Cost is $45 per person.
