(BLOOMINGTON) - The I-69 Development Partners Team announces the closure of Rockport Road to construct an overpass which includes road and bridge improvements to begin January 27.
The road work will focus specifically on grading, drainage, paving, curb and bridge work including abutments and pier construction in the median of State Road 37.
Rockport Road will be closed from That Road west of State Road 37 to Fullerton Pike east of State Road 37. Rockport Road traffic will be detoured during construction.
The detour routes are Fullerton Pike and That Road.
The road will be closed with access for local traffic only. Contractors will begin on January 27. The road will remain closed through June 1, 2015.
