(MITCHELL) - The Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce’s is hosting a “Sew Fun” networking event.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Carpenter Banquet Hall in Mitchell.
The event is open to the first 20 women who love to sew and would like to network. The cost is $10. However, if the participant buys her fabric from Ben Franklin/ACE Hardware in Mitchell, a chamber business helping to sponsor the event, and shows her receipt the night of the event, she'll be refunded the $10 registration fee.
Volunteers will be on-hand to help participants sew pillowcases.
Participants should bring their own machines, fabric, thread and a rotary cutter, if available.
