(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Fire Department responded to the Lawrence County Jail around 6:30 p.m. Sunday after a report of smoke.
According to Sheriff Mike Branham a motor in a HVAC unit that served two electrical rooms caused the smoke, which filled two rooms.
The issue was taken care of quickly and the motor will be repaired today.
