Mother Of Tiffanie Adams Filed Protective Order Against Murdered Woman's Father

Last updated on Monday, January 12, 2015

(SULLIVAN) - The mother of Tiffanie Adams has filed a protective order against the murdered woman’s father.

A hearing is set for Feb. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

According to Sullivan Circuit Court documents, Christina Orr, the mother of slain 20-year-old Tiffanie Adams, filed a protective order against her daughter's father, Bruce Adams, just four days before Tiffanie was reported missing.

Tiffanie was allegedly last seen leaving her father's residence on North Broad Street when she reportedly was walking to her mother's home on N.Watson Street on Nov. 4.

Adams is represented by attorney Jeff Johnson. Through his attorney, Adams filed an objection to Orr's petition on Dec. 8.

Tiffanie's remains were discovered Dec. 30 northeast of Sullivan, yet the body wasn't identified until three days later using dental records. Tiffanie's death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. While the homicide investigation is ongoing at this time -- and no suspects have been named -- a memorial service was held Friday to remember the slain pregnant woman and her unborn son.

Orr alleges she has been a victim of domestic violence and that Bruce Adams harassed and stalked her on several occasions. She also accuses Adams of animal cruelty.

The following is a breakdown of the petition for the Order for Protection against Adams filed in Sullivan Circuit Court on Dec. 2. by Orr.
