(MONROE CO.) - Kindergarten registration for Monroe County Community School Corp. is coming two months earlier this year.
The Herald Times reports that for kids turning 5 before Aug. 1, 2015, the earliest a kindergarten student can register is Groundhog Day, Feb. 2.
Director of Elementary Education Tammy Miller said in a press release, "We want to give our families ample time to complete registration and make educational plans for their students. The longer registration window will provide this necessary time."
