Man Arrested On Two Counts Of Murder In Tiffanie Adams Case

(SULLIVAN) - 23-year-old Johnus “Jonus” Luke Orr of Sullivan was arrested late Tuesday afternoon in the murder of 20-year-old Tiffanie Adams and her unborn son.

He is being held at the Sullivan County Jail on preliminary charges of two counts of murder.

Orr was arrested after an extensive joint investigation by the Indiana State Police, Sullivan County Sheriff's Office and the Sullivan Police Department.

At the request of Sullivan County Prosecutor John Springer, no other information will be released at this time. Media will be notified by the Indiana State Police on the date and time of an upcoming press conference.

Tiffanie was last seen on November 5, 2014 walking from her step-father's home on Broad Street to her mother's home on North Watson Street, nearly one block away. Her family reported her missing on November 7, 2014.

On the afternoon of December 30, 2014, a farmer found Tiffanie's remains while harvesting corn in a farm field near CR 300 North and CR 325 East, northeast of Sullivan. Tiffanie was nearly eight months pregnant at the time of her death.

Lead investigators for this investigation were ISP Detective Mike Taylor, Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom, and Sullivan Police Chief Jesse Morin.
