(BEDFORD) - The Historic Preservation Committee of Bedford Revitalization Inc. will use a Indiana Landmarks $2,250 grant to fund a rehabilitation study on the chapel in Beech Grove Cemetery.

The grant is part of the Efroymsom Family Endangered Places Grant and will be used to assess needed repairs to preserve the chapel that is located in the center of Beech Grove Cemetery, south of Thornton Park.

An architectural firm has been selected to perform the study, and the process of getting the contract through the clearance process is underway.

The group will also be looking for recommendations on a possible future use of the building.
