(ODON) - Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire all day Sunday in Odon.
The call came in at 9:30 a.m. from a home in the 400 block of South Spring Street.
Everyone in the home was out when firefighters arrived.
Odon/Madison Fire Department responded and later called for extra man power from Richland/Taylor out of Greene County. The home was destroyed and the cause is still under investigation.
The railroad was contacted to stop trains in the area, due to water hoses being strung across the railroad tracks.
Firefighters were on the scene until after 6 p.m.
