Family Seeking Donations To Lay Slain Mother And Son To Rest

Last updated on Wednesday, January 7, 2015

(SULLIVAN) - 20-year-old Tiffanie Adams was found on Dec. 30, after she had been missing for nearly two months. She was around seven months pregnant at the time of her disappearance and her death has been ruled a homicide.

Adams, of Sullivan, was identified Friday through dental records after her body was discovered by a farmer while harvesting corn in a field near County Road 300 North and CR 325 East, northeast of Sullivan.

Tiffanie was last seen on November 5 walking from her father's home on North Broad Street to her mother's residence nearly one block away.

While police investigate, her family is hoping for justice, and making plans for burial and services. Tiffanie's aunt and uncle, Donna and Bobby Adams, have set up a bank account where anyone who wants to help lay their two loved ones to rest can donate money.

"We would appreciate any and all donations that would help with the funeral and grave marker expenses," Donna explained. "At this time, we don't know when we will be able to make those arrangements."

Those who wish to give can go to any Fifth Third Bank location and say they wish to donate to the account under the name of Bobby Adams: In care of the memorial of Tiffanie Adams.

"They will look it up, and they will know what to do," Donna said. "We are thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers and any and all donations they might want to give. We're just hoping and praying that justice will be served."

Anyone with information about Tiffanie's death is asked to call Detective Michael Taylor at the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post at (765) 653-4114 or the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at 812-268-4044. Callers can remain anonymous.
