(WASHINGTON) - Effective February 2, East Washington students living across the street from the school will be expected to ride the bus to the buildings.

"Students crossing at the entrance in front of the elementary will need to ride bus 17 and those crossing at the high school entrance will need to ride bus 10," reads an announcement on the school website. "We understand the healthy aspects of physical activity and walking, but the road is just too dangerous, and we do not want anyone to get hit. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our students safe."
