Conservation Officers Conducting Death Investigation

(CLARK CO. STATE FOREST) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the death of a Scott County female that occurred at the Clark State Forest near Henryville, Saturday.

Shortly before noon, a passerby discovered the body of a 28 year-old female in her vehicle near a shelter house.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the female's death was self-inflicted and no foul play is suspected.

The Clark County Coroner's Office is awaiting toxicology results before determining cause of death.

Conservation Officers were assisted at the scene by the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Yellow EMS Service, and the Monroe Township Fire Department.
