Brown County Graduate Dies From Injuries Suffered In Accident

(BROWN CO.) - 17-year-old Ethan Wilson was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Jan. 9.

He died after being taken off life support Saturday.

According to a Brown County Sheriff's report, officers were called to State Road 45 near Morrison Road, about a mile from State Road 135 North in Bean Blossom.

When officers arrived they found Sheila Burgess and Joseph Kirklane attempting to help Wilson who was trapped in the 2002 Toyota Camry that he was driving. The car was stuck against a tree.

Members from Fire Rescue 16 and EMS 8 were able to free Wilson.

Wilson, who was unconscious, was flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he was treated for internal injuries.
