Boy And Girl Scouts Can Earn Badge By Donating To Goodwill

Last updated on Thursday, January 15, 2015

(UNDATED) - Boy and Girl Scouts throughout southern Indiana can earn patches and an opportunity for a pizza party through the ‘Good Turn for Goodwill’ donation drive that takes place through February.

Scouts, parents and their friends are encouraged to bring in a 13-gallon bag or copier box with donations to any Goodwill of Southern Indiana store to receive the patch.

To participate, take the collected items to a Goodwill store and ask the donation attendant to list the Scout's name, troop or crew number and bag count on the sign-in sheet. Goodwill then will take it from there to ensure that a given Scout is credited with the total.

If a Scout's family member has a Goodwill Rewards Card, the Scout may present the Rewards Card to the donation attendant to earn rewards and track donations online.
