(BLOOMINGTON) - Police arrested a man after a woman reported he confined her in a bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
20-year-old John Joseph Heard Jr., of Bloomington was arrested by Bloomington police on preliminary charges of rape, criminal confinement and battery.
He was booked into the Monroe County Jail at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, and his bond has been placed on a hold because Heard committed a probation violation.
