Bloomfield IGA Employees Grieving After Woman's Death And Another's Disappearance

Last updated on Thursday, January 8, 2015

(BLOOMFIELD) - The recent disappearance of one woman and the death of another have hit especially close to home for workers at the Bloomfield IGA.

Both Marina Boelter, the Bloomfield woman who was reported missing on New Year's Day, and 39-year-old Tania Holloman, who was killed when the vehicle she was driving was swept into Plummer Creek on Sunday evening, were employees of the store and worked in the deli department.

The Greene County Daily World reports that employees are in mourning over Holloman's death and worried and scared after the disappearance of 18-year-old Boelter.

Employees say both women were a joy to work with. Holloman was described as dedicated and loving and Boelter as determined and spunky.
