Bitter Cold, With Temperatures To Plummet

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A strong cold front moves through Indiana today and officials are warning resident to use care when going outside.

There is a wind chill warning in effect from Indianapolis north and a wind chill advisory south. Wind chills are forecast in the range of -20 to -30 Wednesday.

In addition to the dangerous cold and wind chills, blowing and drifting snow will be issues in the northern part of the state.

Highs on Wednesday are only forecast in the single digits, so the dangerous cold will last all day.

Temperatures fall to -10 Thursday morning, with wind chills still near -20. Highs Thursday through Saturday will be in the range of 10 to 15 degrees. A few flurries and snow showers are possible now through Friday.
