(FAYETTEVILLE) - A Williams woman was injured after she fell asleep while driving on State Road 58 Saturday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 45-year-old Denna Kinser of Williams was traveling west on State Road 58 when she fell asleep while driving.

When she woke, her 2004 Chevrolet Venture had ran off the south side of the road and traveled 160 feet. Kinser attempted to regain control of her vehicle, but the vehicle went back onto the roadway and flipped onto the driver's side and then the top.

The vehicle slid another 117 feet north across State Road 58 stopping on its top across from Armstrong Station Road.

Kinser complained of pain to her arm and elbow area.
