(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man Wednesday afternoon on a warrant for child molestation.
65-year-old Rudy Z. Myers was taken into custody at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on Sixth Street.
The arrest stemmed from a Nov. 13 incident in which Myers was caught by the father of the victim engaging in an inappropriate act, according to a probable cause affidavit. The following day,during an interview with officials from the Indiana State Police and child protective services, Myers stated in his view, the incident was not sexual in nature.
Myers was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on $50,000 bond.
