Sections Of State Road 235 Closed For Medora Christmas Parade

(MEDORA) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a permit to the Town of Medora to close a section of State Road 235 this Saturday for the community’s annual Christmas parade.

The 3-hour closure begins at 11 a.m.

Motorists can circumvent the parade site via West County Road 275 South, Jackson Street and Perry Street.

Parade participants will journey along State Road 235 from West County Road 275 South to Perry Street.

The Medora Christmas Festival features a tree lighting ceremony and crowning of the 2014 Prince and Princess. There will be stage performances and an appearance by Santa Claus - along with a variety of craft vendors, food stands and other attractions.
