Stalker Elementary Student Council Raises Funds For Dolly Parton Imagination Library

(BEDFORD) - Stalker Elementary Student Council members presented Mark Vice, North Lawrence Community Schools director of curriculum, instruction and learning, a check for $171 from the school fundraiser for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

The program provides free books every month for registered Lawrence County children from age birth through their 5th birthday.

Student council members Jay Holland, Makenna Shanks, Faith Daugherty, Emma Stone and Cailin Starr delivered the donation.

The next fundraiser will be the Women's Day of Pampering Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stonegate Arts and Education Center.
