Police Looking For Red Dodge Pickup That Left Accident Scene

(GREENE CO.) - Authorities are searching for information on a red Dodge pickup truck reported to be involved in a traffic accident in eastern Greene County Wednesday night.

21-year old Christy Brook of Ellettsville was traveling westbound on State Road 54 and Hobbieville Road at about 10:30 p.m. when the accident occurred.

According to Greene County Sheriff's Department, the pickup passed Brook, crossing back into her lane too soon and clipped the front of her 1991 Jeep Cherokee.

Her vehicle ran off the road and through a sign, flipping twice.

Brook, who complained of body pain, was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital by the Greene County Ambulance Service.

Brook did not have a valid driver's license and was issued a citation.

Center Township Fire Department and Greene County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
