(LINTON) - At shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, 24-year-old Jordan Tharp of Linton was injured in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 231 South.
Tharp sustained injuries to his head and face and was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
According to police the accident happened just south of Olive Branch Road, when Tharp drove his 2010 Toyota Yaris off the road and into some trees.
Witnesses told police that Tharp's vehicle began to swerve back and forth before the accident.
Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Shawn Cullison, Greene County Ambulance Service, and Richland Taylor Fire Department assisted at the scene.
