(MITCHELL) - A Bedford woman was arrested after she was caught breaking windows and attempting to climb into a rooming house in Mitchell early Sunday morning.

Mitchell police were called to the rooming house at Fifth Street and Mississippi Avenue at 3:22 a.m.

Once there, officers found 48-year-old Robin Bowden breaking the window and attempting to climb into an apartment.

Police say Bowden was intoxicated and did not want to cooperate with police.

Bowden was arrested on charges of residential entry, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

A Seals ambulance was called to the scene to treat Bowden, who suffered a cut to her hand while breaking the window.
