Bedford Man Sentenced To Prison

(BEDFORD) - Superior Court I Judge Michael Robbins sentenced a Bedford man to 38 years in prison with eight years suspended on theft charges.

Seth Flynn pleaded guilty to three counts of theft.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Flynn admitted that in April he broke into a home the 100 block of The Woods and stole hydrocodone, tools, a chainsaw and hedge trimmers.

The homeowner believed Flynn's girlfriend, Corrie Lintz, had broke into the house. The homeowner had hired her to mow his lawn and she had taken his medication before.

Bedford Police secured a search warrant for the home that Lintz and Flynn shared and found the stolen items.

Flynn was charged with burglary, a Class B felony.

Then in May, Flynn admitted he broke into a home in the 1900 block of State Road 58 East taking a coffee pot, coffee and a blower.

A trail cam on the property showed a truck which police determined belonged to Flynn's grandfather.

Police questioned Flynn who admitted to taking the coffee pot and coffee, popsicles and a foam mattress

Then in June, Flynn admitted to breaking into a home in the 3400 block of Riverbluff Road. A witnesses saw a truck on the property and were able to get the license plate. The truck belonged to Flynn's grandfather.

Officers witnessed Flynn driving the same truck on June 4 and charged him with driving with a suspended driver's license with a prior conviction. Flynn admitted to breaking into the home on Riverbluff Road and cut the copper wire from the home. Police also found two suitcases filled with items taken from the home.

He was arrested.

Corrie Lintz is involved in four pending cases.
