Woman Arrested After Becoming Disorderly In Court

(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington woman is facing new charges after she became upset with her court sentence Tuesday afternoon.

53-year-old Joyce Berry, was in Superior Court II Tuesday afternoon after she failed to complete her community service.

According to court officials Berry admitted in court that she failed to serve her community serviced and that is when Judge William Sleva sentenced Berry to 10 days in jail.

Berry then became upset and began to get loud and combative with the officer that was in the courthouse. Other officer were called to Courthouse Plaza and Berry was arrested on charges of resisting arrest by force and maintaining a common nuisance.
