(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park’s annual Holiday in the Village celebration will take place Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.
Visitors are invited to stroll through the Pioneer Village those days as heritage interpreters craft holiday decorations, bake cookies and prepare to celebrate a late-1800s Christmas.
The village is open from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 5 and 1-9 p.m. on Dec. 6.
Cookies and wassail will be served in the village tavern, where Father Christmas will be taking holiday wishes. He also will distribute small gifts and candy canes.
Music will be played both days by the Bedford Dulcimer Society in the summer kitchen of the weaver's cabin. On Dec. 6, Wildflowers and Weeds will play holiday music in the grist mill.
Park admission applies for the weekend.
