(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the White River at Edwardsport for tonight through Sunday afternoon.
The river is forecast to rise above the 15 foot flood stage by Wednesday morning and continue to rise to 17.9 feet by early afternoon on Thursday.
The river will start to fall below flood stage by early Sunday morning.
At 18 feet, Old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in Daviess County as well as Schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable. The high water will also affect farm bottomlands and river cabins.
