Mayors Sign Proclamation Declaring November 'National Home Care & Hospice Month'

(BEDFORD) - Hoosier Uplands Hospice representatives met with Bedford Mayor Shawna Girgis and Mitchell Mayor Gary Pruett to sign proclamations declaring November as National Home Care & Hospice Month.

Hoosier Uplands Home Health Care and Hospice would like to encourage everyone in the surrounding communities to celebrate National Home Care and Hospice Month.

Hospice is a supportive program to help aid, comfort and care for those with terminal illnesses. A full medical and spiritual team, including an M.D. Medical Director, skilled nurses, home health aids, social workers, chaplins, and volunteers, are available to assist with the needs of the patient.
