(LINTON) - A 29-year-old Linton man was arrested after police were called to a residence for a domestic issue involving a child late Saturday.
Officers were called to the Linton home after a report of a child being taken.
When officers arrived they spoke to Helms, who became agitated and started yelling and curing and fighting with officer, when they attempted to detain him.
Helms was arrested on charges of criminal confinement, battery resulting in bodily injury to a law enforcement officer, resisting law enforcement and battery.
