Brownstown Businessman Asks For Variance To Manufacture Trailers

(BROWNSTOWN) - A Brownstown businessman plans to ask the Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals for a variance allowing him to manufacture trailers along U.S. 50, just east of Brownstown.

Dill Whittymore will make that request during the board's monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the plan commission office, 202 E. Walnut St.

According to the application submitted by Whittymore and Deanna Lawyer, the company is known as Bull Manufacturing LLC and the manufacturing facility would front U.S. 50. Whittymore owns an 11.396-acre parcel in the 1400 block of East U.S. 50 and a second 55-acre parcel in the 1800 block East U.S. 50.
