(BEDFORD) - If you are looking for somewhere to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas, Bertha’s Mission will be serving dinner.
Thanksgiving dinner will be served at the First Baptist Church in Bedford on Nov. 22 from 2-6 p.m. and Christmas dinner will be served at Community Fellowship Church on State Road 58 on Dec. 20 from 2-6 p.m. Bus transportation to the dinners will be provided for people living in Bedford and Mitchell.
To arrange for a ride in the Bedford area, call 275-1633 by 3 p.m. Nov. 21.
Mitchell area residents should call 849-2151 by 3 p.m. Nov. 21 for the Thanksgiving dinner and by 3 p.m. Dec. 19 for the Christmas dinner.
The mission at the corner of Fifth and J streets, is seeking community donations for food and supplies. Gift cards and monetary donations are also needed.
