(BEDFORD) - Beaver Creek Road between State Road 60 and Blanton Road will be closed today for a culvert replacement from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Sandpit Road will be closed today from Mitchell Road to County Complex Road from 8 a.m. 3 p.m.
"We are going to mill the asphalt, fix some bad places in the concrete, then re-pave the deck on the bridge between Mitchell Road and the Railroad tracks," says Lawrence County Highway Superintendent David Holmes.
Anyone needing to go to the transfer station will have to take South I street to Sandpit Road to County Complex Road.
"We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause as it is a very heavily travelled road," Holmes added.
