Last updated on Monday, October 20, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a crash Sunday at the intersection of 16th and Beech streets.

According to a Bedford Police report, 29-year-old Erin Robbins of Mitchell was traveling west on 16th Street approaching the Beech Street intersection and was talking on her cell phone and didn't see the 2012 General Motors Acadia driven by 60-year-old Carolyn Stigall stop in front of her. Robbins' 2000 Ford Taurus struck Stigall's vehicle in the rear.

Stigall was not injured during the incident but Robbins did complain of neck and back pain. Her 8-year-old passenger suffered a small cut to his upper lip.
