Two Arrested After Stealing Relatives Information To Obtain Credit Cards

Last updated on Friday, October 17, 2014

(SEYMOUR) - A man’s claim that he and his wife used personal information from relatives and others to obtain credit cards to help “buy stuff for their kids” ended with the pair in jail.

The investigation that led to the arrests Tuesday of 35-year-old Charles B. Ray II, and 35-year-old Jacquelyn A. Ray, both of Seymour, began in early July when a relative told Seymour police someone had attempted to open a credit card account in his wife's name.

In that incident, the relative -- who lives in Florida with his wife -- said he believed a family member living in Seymour had tried to open the account.
