Two Injured In Jackson County Motorcycle Crash

(SPRAYTOWN) - Two people were seriously injured Saturday night after a motorcycle crash on State Road 58 near Spraytown.

According to a Jackson County Sheriff's Department report 57-year-old Ronald Pate, of Plainfield, was traveling north on State Road 58 when he lost control of his motorcycle and went off the side of the road.

Pate and his passenger, 48-year-old Karen Sheats, of Indianapolis, were seriously injured and flown by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
