(BEDFORD) - The sidewalk project on John Williams Boulevard is about a week behind schedule because of wet weather.
Bedford's Plan Director Dan Kirk is hopeful the rain will stop soon and construction will get back on track.
Crews hope to have the sidewalk project by mid-November.
When the weather breaks, crews will finish up the sidewalks and installing railing. When that is complete, Duke Energy will install streetlights.
