(BLOOMINGTON) - Seven Oaks Classical School, a proposed charter school, will not be opening next year in Monroe County.
The Herald Times reports, the Indiana Charter School Board voted unanimously against authorizing the charter that would have opened in the fall of 2015.
The charter school board members followed the recommendation of staff who did not favor the charter application because of the proposed school's leadership, the lack of details in the instructional plan and the ability for Seven Oaks to recruit students.
