(BRAZIL) - An Indiana Department of Correction parole officer 46-year-old Joseph Granda of Brazil has been fired and arrested amid allegations he engaged in oral sex this summer with an Owen County woman whose probation he was supervising.
Court records in the case indicate the sex act was consensual.
The woman videotaped the encounter, and when she faced a new criminal charge, officials say, she gave the video to her lawyer hoping it would result in a plea deal in the case filed against her.
An investigation was then conducted by the Indiana Department of Corrections resulting in Granda's arrest.
