(OWEN CO.) - An Owen County deputy coroner was charged with drunken driving Wednesday night after reportedly arriving at a death investigation scene while under the influence of alcohol.
30-year-old Jessica C. Perry was charged with driving with a blood alcohol content above 0.08, and also with driving without a valid driver's license.
She bonded out of jail after posting $250 bond, and appeared in Owen Circuit Court on Thursday, where a public defender was appointed to represent her.
