Man Involved In Crash Died Of Natural Causes

(SEYMOUR) - A Columbus man involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon on State Road 11, north of Seymour, died of natural causes.

Jackson County Coroner Roger Wheeler says 65-year-old Delbert Kinsey, had a history of heart issues and issues related to an insulin dependency.

The wreck was reported at 12:19 p.m. in the 10,000 block of North State Road 11 near Interstate 65.

According to Indiana State Police Trooper Matt Holley, Kinsey was driving a 1998 Isuzu pick-up truck northbound on SR 11 east of I-65 when his truck left the roadway and struck a fence line and a sign on the south side of SR 11.

Kinsey was found inside the vehicle, slumped over the steering wheel with the truck still running and in the drive position.

Trooper Matt Holley was assisted at the crash scene by Jackson County EMS and Jackson County Coroner's Office.
