Kyle Foli Named New Head Football Coach At Dugger Union Community School

Last updated on Monday, October 13, 2014

(DUGGER) - Kyle Foli has assumed the head football coaching position at Dugger Union Community School after Danny Tieken left his positions as academic director and football coach last week.

Foli, who also is the DUCS board president, told the Sullivan Daily Times that Tieken resigned from both positions and is no longer with the school. Foli previously served as the associate head football coach at Dugger Union since the start of the season.

Foli, who was in charge of the Bulldog football team on Oct. 3 when the Bulldogs defeated WRV Community 57-6, said that he was willing to continue in the position of football coach beyond his interim status.

DUCS operates in cooperation with Indiana Cyber Charter Schools (ICCS) and a representative of ICCS confirmed the personnel change on Monday.

Tieken, who was formerly a teacher and coach at then Union (Dugger) High School for three years, ending in 1989, was employed at DUCS since its opening on August 25.
