Fort Vallonia Days Pioneer Festival Is This Weekend

(VALLONIA) - The 46th Annual Fort Vallonia Days Pioneer Festival is this weekend.

On the third weekend of every October, the small town of Vallonia becomes alive with activity.

There is a flea market, food vendors, live entertainment. Visitors can step back in time.

Some of the attractions include:

  • Fort Vallonia Days Trail Ride
  • Wes Hartley Memorial Muzzle Load Shoot
  • Archery Shoot
  • Squirrel Hunt
  • Tomahawk and Knife Throw
  • Horseshoe Pitch
  • 5k Run / Walk
  • Persimmon Pudding Eating Contest
  • Model Steam and Old Gas Engine Display
  • Handmade Articles and Crafts
  • Free Entertainment at the Pavilion
  • Homemade Food
  • Flea Market and Booths
  • Visit Teepees in Front of Fort Walls
  • Red Cross Blood Drive at Vallonia Christian Church on Saturday from 10am - 3pm
