(MITCHELL) - The city of Mitchell will be accepting quotes for its employee health insurance coverage.
The Times-Mail reports, the city council created an insurance committee during the summer to review the current policy and obtain quotes in order to reduce the cost of the insurance to the city.
The renewal date is Dec. 1.
Quotes should be submitted to the clerk-treasurer's office at City Hall, 407 S. Sixth St., by 4 p.m. Oct. 24.
Each agency submitting a quote will be given the opportunity to present the plan to the insurance committee during a meeting Nov. 5. Each participating agency will be contacted to schedule a presentation time.
