(BEDFORD) - A Bedford TASC bus was involved in an accident Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 49-year-old Kelli Prince, of Bedford, was driving the 2008 Ford Cutaway TASC bus on Windwood Drive and was turning left onto16th Street when 51-year-old Jerry Ross, of Bedford, who was driving a 1989 GM pickup and had just turned left from Hillcrest Road onto 16th Street and was in the center turn lane. Ross' truck struck the bus as the bus was turning.
Prince told police she had looked and saw no traffic when she pulled out to turn. She told police she was the pickup approaching but was unable to stop. Ross told police the bus pulled out in front of him and he was unable to avoid the wreck.
No one was injured.
